2. What data we process

a) Data you provide

If you fill in the contact form or write to us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we process the data you share: full name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your message.

b) Browsing data

While you browse, the systems hosting the site may record technical data (such as IP address, date and time of the request, page visited, browser type) in the server logs. This data is needed for the operation and security of the site and is not used to identify or profile you.

The site does not use profiling cookies, advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Fonts and technical libraries are hosted on our own systems: while browsing, your browser does not send data to external services. Details are in the Cookie Policy.

3. Why we process it and on what legal basis

• Answering your requests (information, quotes, service): processing is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (art. 6, par. 1, lett. b GDPR).
• Complying with legal obligations (e.g. tax and accounting, if the request leads to a contract): art. 6, par. 1, lett. c GDPR.
• Site security and protection of our rights: legitimate interest of the controller (art. 6, par. 1, lett. f GDPR).

We do not use your data for marketing, newsletters or profiling, and we do not sell it or pass it to third parties for commercial purposes.

4. How long we keep it

• Contact request data: for as long as needed to handle the request and in any case no longer than 24 months from the last contact, unless a contract follows.
• Data tied to contracts: for the terms required by law (as a rule, 10 years for tax and accounting records).
• Technical server logs: for the hosting provider's standard technical retention times.

5. Who it may be shared with

Data may be processed, on TLAB's behalf, by technical service providers (e.g. the site's hosting provider and email services), appointed as processors pursuant to art. 28 GDPR. If you contact us through WhatsApp, the processing carried out by WhatsApp/Meta is governed by their own privacy notice.

Any transfers of data outside the EU by our providers take place only with the safeguards required by artt. 44 ff. GDPR (e.g. standard contractual clauses).

6. Your rights

Under artt. 15–22 GDPR you have the right to access your data, and to obtain rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, as well as to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise them, write to tlabfoodtech@gmail.com.

If you believe the processing breaches the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).

7. Minors

The site is aimed at professional operators and is not intended for children under 14. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Updates

This notice may be updated: the version published on this page is the one in force. In case of doubt, the Italian version prevails.
